Neil Cowleyis, undoubtedly, a titan in the UK’s music scene. Once the most listened-to pianist on the planet, throughout his career he has not been afraid to draw inspiration froma variety of genres – from funk and soul, to epic cinematic orchestrations, through modern classical to pop – until finally honing in on jazz when he set up the trio that earned him a spot on Jools Holland, and the highly coveted BBC Jazz Award.
